Teen Charged After Threatening to Stab Man: Police
An Annapolis teenager was charged with assault for reportedly threatening to stab a man during an argument, police say.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — An Annapolis teenager faces assault charges for reportedly threatening to stab a man during an argument.
According to Annapolis Police, the dispute happened Monday afternoon in the 2200 block of Bay Ridge Avenue. The victim told officers he had never met the 17-year-old boy he was arguing with.
During the dispute the teen showed a knife in his waistband and reportedly threatened to stab the man, police say. When the victim called police, the teen ran away.

When officers located the boy they did not find a knife. The 17-year-old was charged with first- and second-degree assault and released to his guardian, officers said.
