Teen Skater Assaulted, Robbed in Severna Park
Anne Arundel County Police say a teen or young man robbed a youth while he was roller skating in Severna Park Wednesday.

SEVERNA PARK, MD — A teenager skating Wednesday night near Northway Road and Severn Dale Road in Severna Park was assaulted and robbed, police say.
The victim, a boy, was roller skating in the area when he was approached by an unknown teen or young adult male. The suspect pushed the boy to the ground, then stole his helmet, watch, and a small amount of cash, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
The suspect then fled the area on foot.

The victim suffered a minor head injury as a result of the assault, but did not require medical treatment, police said.
Numerous officers, in addition to a police K-9 unit, searched the area, but the suspect was not spotted.

The suspect is described as a white male, 16 to 20 years old, 6’0”, thin build; he was wearing a white shirt, gray or black pants, and a black and gray ski mask.
