Third CVS Pharmacy Struck by Masked Robber

Three of the chain's locations in Anne Arundel County have been held up in two weeks, police say.

For the third time in two weeks, a masked robber has held up a CVS Pharmacy in Anne Arundel County, this time in Glen Burnie.

The most recent robbery happened about 8 p.m. Nov. 30 at the CVS Pharmacy located in the 7400 block of Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie.

Store employees told investigators that a man entered the pharmacy, approached the cashier and demanded money. The thief took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash drawer before fleeing the store.

Officers canvassed the area with K-9, but were unable to locate the suspect.

The two previous robberies – both in Severn – also involved masked men who held up a CVS location. In the Nov. 19 case the suspect was armed with a handgun and took cash from the register. During the Nov. 23 robbery, no weapon was shown.

No security camera footage has been released for the previous two robberies, but the height of the suspects varies by nearly a foot.

The suspect in the Glen Burnie robbery is described by police as a black man, 6’0” with a husky build, wearing blue jeans and a tri-color jacket that has a black bottom half, a white middle stripe, a beige top with beige sleeves and two white stripes going down both sleeves and a black emblem of a man on a horse over the left breast area. The suspect also wore black headgear covering his face.
