UPDATE: Eastport Bridge Fixed, Reopened
The bridge was stuck open, warned Annapolis Police, so drivers had to find another route.

Drivers in Annapolis are being told to avoid the Eastport bridge for now.
The reason? It’s stuck.

The Annapolis Police Department tweeted about 3:40 p.m. Thursday that the bridge was stuck open. Another tweet said the bridge was about 90 percent of the way down, and to avoid the area.
Authorities said the bridge may be closed till at least 5 p.m. Workers are on the way to fix the problem.
Drivers are being told to instead use alternate routes into Eastport, Forest Drive or Spa Road.
