Two Killed, Eight Injured in Head-On Crash
Drivers from Glen Burnie and Pasadena died in a crash Saturday night. Police say alcohol may have played a factor.

Two drivers in a head-on crash died at the scene Saturday night in an accident that speed and alcohol may have played a role in, police say.
Anne Arundel County Police say the three-vehicle crash was reported at 10:30 p.m. at Solley Road near Chestnut Springs Lane in Glen Burnie.
Investigators say a 2005 Nissan Maxima driven by Donna L. Thayer-Fitzgerald, 47, of 940 Long Cove Road in Glen Burnie, was southbound on Solley Road when it crossed the center line while on a slight curve in the road. Thayer-Fitzgerald’s car struck a 2003 Nissan Maxima driven by Joshua N. Pack, 18, of 756 225th St. in Pasadena head-on.

The impact flipped his car onto its roof and Pack’s Nissan slid about 100 yards.
A third vehicle, also northbound on Solley Road behind Pack’s vehicle, was unable to stop in time and was sideswiped by both of the crashed cars. Alexandra Thompson, 21, of 901 Andrews Road in Glen Burnie, was the driver of the third car, a 2010 Ford Focus.

Thayer-Fitzgerald and Pack were both declared dead at the scene.

Four passengers in Pack’s vehicle were also taken to Shock Trauma: Ryan Caines, 18, of 7904 Pepperbox Lane in Pasadena; Dylan Dovel, 19, of 756 Dividing Creek Road in Arnold; Nicholas Quigley, 17, of 7824 Titan Court in Pasadena; and Christopher Dumsha, 19, of 946 Long Cove Road in Pasadena.
Police say Quigley suffered critical, life-threatening injuries, while the other passengers were seriously injured.
Thompson and two passengers – Kasey Knighton, 18, of 7818 Renshaw Road in Pasadena, and Kelcie Brown, 18, of 707 Evelyn Ave. in Linthicum – were all taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center with minor injuries.
