Weather Advisory for Annapolis Monday

A coastal flood advisory is in effect until noon Monday for the Annapolis area, warns the National Weather Service.

Minor flooding is expected at high tide late Monday morning.

A coastal flood advisory mean onshore winds and tides will combine to cause flooding of low-lying areas along the shore, the Weather Service says.

Expect a soggy start to the week, with the Annapolis weather forecast calling for a 30 percent chance of scattered thunderstorms Monday, bumping up to 50 percent chance tonight, and dropping to a 30 percent chance by Tuesday night.
