Weather Decision For Anne Arundel County Public Schools On Feb 5
BREAKING: Anne Arundel County Public Schools will operate on a modified schedule on Monday, Feb. 5.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Public schools in Anne Arundel County will open late on Monday, Feb. 5. School officials made the announcement Monday morning.
"Due to icy conditions on roads and walkways, all Anne Arundel County Public Schools will open two hours late today," the announcement said.
Morning half-day prekindergarten and ECI classes are canceled. Morning sessions at the Centers for Applied Technology North or South are canceled, according to Anne Arundel County Public Schools.

Full-day prekindergarten is still on, and students should report two hours later than they usually do on Monday, Feb. 5, school officials said.
The National Weather Service issued a special weather statement overnight alerting drivers that roads may appear wet while in reality they are icy. People should give themselves extra time to get to their destinations and exercise caution on the roads, weather officials advised.

Due to icy conditions on roads and walkways, all schools will open two hours late today (2-5-18). No morning half-day PreK/ECI; no morning sessions at the Centers for Applied Technology North or South. Students in full-day pre-kindergarten classes will have class.
