Weather Decision From Anne Arundel County Schools For Jan. 18

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Schools in Anne Arundel County will open two hours late on Friday, Jan. 18. Officials from Anne Arundel County Public Schools issued the decision Friday morning.

Morning pre-K and ECI classes are canceled, and morning sessions at the Centers of Applied Technology North or South are canceled as well, officials said in a statement.

Full-day pre-K students will have class and should report two hours later, in accordance with the delay.

About 0.7 inch of snow fell since Thursday night at BWI, according to preliminary data from the National Weather Service, which issued a hazardous weather outlook Friday morning for slippery roads.
