WEATHER WARNING: More Snow on Way for Annapolis
Snow is in the forecast Monday and Tuesday for Anne Arundel County, according to National Weather Service.

Annapolis is under a winter storm warning from 6 p.m. Monday to noon Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service,
Between 6 and 10 inches of snow may fall between Monday night and Tuesday morning, according to the warning.
The heaviest snow will be Monday night, the weather service reported.

Anne Arundel County Public Schools are closed Monday for Presidents’ Day, which is a federal holiday.
Temperatures will be in the teens and low 20s, according to the weather service.

A winter storm warning means heavy snow is anticipated or occurring, and travel conditions will be difficult. Roads will become snow-covered and slippery, and visibility may be limited to less than a half mile.
During the warning period, the weather service says people should only travel in an emergency and should be sure to have a flashlight, blanket, food and water in their vehicles.
The following areas are included under this winter storm warning:
- Howard County
- Anne Arundel County
- Prince George’s County
- Montgomery County
- District of Columbia
- Parts of northern and central Virginia
- Part of West Virginia
