What's Open, Closed in Annapolis on Thanksgiving?

Annapolis Transit and garbage service are affected. And when is the mall open?

Most government services are closed on Thursday, Nov. 27, in Annapolis for the Thanksgiving holiday.

All City of Annapolis government offices will be closed on Thursday and on Friday, Nov. 28, for the holiday.

For residents, refuse and recycling collection will be delayed by one day. If the normal pick-up day is on Thursday, then collection will occur on Friday. If the normal pick-up day is on Friday, then collection will take place on Saturday.

The Annapolis Transit schedule will also be affected. There will be no service on Thursday, Nov. 27. Annapolis Transit will operate on a regular schedule on Friday, Nov. 28.

Westfield Annapolis Mall will be open from 6 p.m. to midnight on Thursday, close for a few hours, and re-open at 6 a.m. Nov. 28 for Black Friday shopping crowds.
