Where, When To See Blue Angels, President Trump 2018 In Annapolis

Commissioning Week at the US Naval Academy brings flights by the Blue Angels, a speech by President Trump and more.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Road closures and boating restrictions on local waterways will be common later this month during events tied to graduation at the U.S. Naval Academy, including aerial performances by the Blue Angels and the commencement address by President Donald Trump.

The Navy's Flight Demonstration Squadron will perform above the Severn River, Tuesday, May 22, and Wednesday, May 23, as part of the Naval Academy's Commissioning Week. These events are free and open to the public. Viewing areas for the show will include Ingram Field, portions of Farragut Field and Hospital Point on the Naval Academy grounds. Visitors may experience delays due to an increased number of visitors on the Yard.

President Trump will speak at the commencement ceremony for this year's graduates of the U.S. Naval Academy, which is scheduled to take place on Friday, May 25 at Navy-Marine Corps Stadium in Annapolis. In the ceremony, the graduating midshipmen will be commissioned as ensigns in the Navy or 2nd lieutenants in the Marine Corps. The graduation ceremony is invitation only.
