Woman Sought in Fatal Stabbing of Glen Burnie Woman
Anne Arundel County Police are searching for a woman they believe stabbed a woman to death in a fight at a Glen Burnie apartment.
GLEN BURNIE, MD — Homicide detectives will be in a Glen Burnie neighborhood Tuesday handing out fliers as they look for a woman who reportedly stabbed another woman to death in a fight.
Anne Arundel County Police say the deadly fight happened before 2 p.m. Monday at an apartment building in the 100 block of Mountain Road in Glen Burnie. When officers arrived, they found Ikea Nicole Jackson, 28, from Glen Burnie, lying outside the apartment building suffering from stab wounds.
Anne Arundel County Fire Department medics took the victim to Baltimore-Washington Medical Center, where she died from her injuries.

Detectives responded to the scene to investigate Jackson’s death as an apparent homicide. Her body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the exact cause and manner of death.
Investigators searched the area and interviewed witnesses as they tried to piece together the chain of events that led to Jackson’s death and determine a motive for the fatal assault. There are no similar incidents that have occurred in the area.

The suspect was described as a black woman, 5’8” to 6’ tall, with a heavy build, short dark hair, and wearing a large white coat.
