Work Begins Aug. 15 On Playground At Bywater Park
Major improvements to Bywater Park begin August 15, when workers will begin to install playground equipment.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Bywater Park will close Aug. 15 for several months so workers can install play equipment for children from tots to teens, and build a walking path for all ages. The project includes updated stormwater management infrastructure, sidewalk ramps, and a small parking lot, according to a news release from the city of Annapolis.
There will also be a central gathering area with a seating wall so that parents and caregivers can watch children at several play areas. The park will have a grass playing field, picnic area, and park benches.
Bywater Park will be closed on Aug. 15 to begin the upgrades, with the park expected to reopen in November.
