Wreaths Across America Seeks Donations for Cemetery

Effort to decorate veterans' graves at Annapolis National Cemetery is woefully short on money. Donations are accepted through Nov. 30.

Donations to lay wreaths on all 2,996 veterans’ graves at the Annapolis National Cemetery in Annapolis are trickling in, with only 400 wreaths provided so far, an organizer says.

Kristina Seidel of Edgewater, organizers of the “Wreaths Across America” program for the cemetery, told the Capital-Gazette she’s concerned the group won’t meet its goal. There are 10 days left to donate to the program.

You can make a donation online through the Annapolis Wreaths Across America site. Each wreath costs $15; donations must be in by Nov. 30.
