1 Firefighter Taken To Hospital After Pasadena Blaze

One firefighter was treated at an area hospital after a garage fire spread in Pasadena, Anne Arundel County Fire officials say.

PASADENA, MD — One firefighter was taken to the hospital for treatment after a house fire Thursday in the 8200 block of Old Mill Road in Pasadena. Anne Arundel County Fire officials said one firefighter was evaluated on the scene for a medical concern, and a second firefighter was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center in good condition with a medical complaint.

Authorities said 911 calls reported the home's attached garage was on fire, and it spread to the second floor and attic of the house. About 40 firefighters had the blaze under control in about 30 minutes, officials said in a news release.

Investigators have not yet determined the cause of fire, the amount of damage done, or whether the house had working smoke alarms.
