2 Pedestrians Hit By Car In Pasadena, 1 Critically Hurt: Police
A Pasadena man was critically injured when he and another man ran in front of a car; police say alcohol use by the pedestrians was a factor.

PASADENA, MD — Alcohol use by two Pasadena men who ran across the street and were hit by a car played a role in the accident, say Anne Arundel County Police. One of the men was critically injured in the crash that happened shortly before 8 p.m. on Sunday at Mountain Road near Sagamore Way in Pasadena.
Investigators found that a 2014 Chevrolet Spark driven by Joan Anita Weller, 74, of the 200 block of Hickory Point Road on Pasadena, was eastbound on Mountain Road when the men ran into the path of the car and were struck. Weller was not hurt, authorities said.
Pedestrian Cody James Wallace, 26, of the 8000 block of Green Forest Drive suffered critical injuries and is being treated at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma. Howie Malek, 19, of the 7900 block of Catherine Avenue suffered minor injuries and was treated at Shock Trauma.
