Deadly Tesla Crash Hospitalizes Anne Arundel Co. Firefighters Over Toxic Fumes: Report

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — A Tesla driver died Friday afternoon on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway after losing control of the car and crashing into a wall, according to a report.

Reports of the crash surfaced shortly before 4 p.m., with a subsequent fire not being extinguished until after 10 p.m.

The Anne Arundel County Fire Department told WUSA9 that the driver was the sole occupant of the Tesla, and that at least nine firefighters were hospitalized for inhaling toxic fumes.
