Person Shot Outside Assisted Living Facility In Hanover: Police

HANOVER, MD — A person was shot outside an assisted living facility in Hanover on Friday, according to Anne Arundel County police.

Officers were investigating the shooting in the 7500 block of Old Telegraph Road, police said in a statement released shortly before 9:10 p.m.

The shooting happened outside the assisted living facility, but no residents were injured or in danger, according to police.

Police did not immediately release information about the person who was shot, the severity of their injuries or the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

An investigation is ongoing.
