ANNAPOLIS, MD—As of 8 a.m. Sunday the blizzard warning for Maryland has been lifted. Over the weekend, Winter Storm Jonas brought over two feet of snow to towns across Anne Arundel County.

No travel ban was issued for Anne Arundel County throughout the storm, but Governor Larry Hogan is still urging residents to stay off the roads while crews get to work.

  • “2ft. of snow on my road so I’d have to say no.”
  • “Plow? What is a plow? Arundel Village is always forgotten.”
  • “Armiger Drive off Mountain Road has been plowed by a private citizen. No salt. No Gov’t or contract plows.”
  • “No!! Brodie Management is the worst!!! Its a “private road” so county wont touch it!”
  • “Need a plow to come thru Chesley Beach community! Oh and turn plow away from cars we just dug out! Thx!”
  • “Neighbor and our son came to plow for our streets, made us so happy”
  • “Haven’t seen a plow yet. 20” deep on our road in Ft. Smallwood.”
  • “AA Co schedule states 4 to 6 days before they get to my street. It is a shame they it will take that long and they will make only one pass thru and then we will have to dig out what we have already done at the end of our drive ways.”
  • “Seems like we’re some of the lucky few! Great neighborhood effort with the help of a plow. Good luck everyone and stay patient.”
  • “The neighbor up the road has done his best, but with so much snow, where to put it all? As for county plows- we haven’t seen one.”
  • “We haven’t been touched yet. I understand everyone is out there working hard...but this is kinda crazy to me that they haven’t sent one truck at all. Hoping someone gets out here today. We’ve shoveled the best we could but the snow is so packed on the road it’s very hard for just two people to do”
