Armed Man Forces His Way Into Home, Struggles With Resident
A man with a gun fought off a Pasadena resident who tried to stop the burglar from stealing his wife's purse, police say.

PASADENA, MD — A Pasadena man tried to keep a man from fleeing his house with his wife's purse, Anne Arundel County Police said. The theft happened shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday in the 7800 block of Willing Court.
A woman was standing in front of her residence when she was approached by a man who asked for a cigarette. When she refused, a second man approached the woman with a handgun and pushed his way into the house, authorities say.
While the first man fled, the armed man entered the woman's house went into a bedroom, grabbed her purse and tried to flee from the residence. The homeowner’s husband returned home and confronted the intruder, police say. After a brief struggle, the burglar fled from the residence with an undetermined amount of cash.
