ATM User Robbed, Pasadena Man Arrested: Police

A man using an ATM outdoors at a Glen Burnie bank was reportedly robbed at knifepoint by a Pasadena man, police say.

PASADENA, MD — A man using an ATM at a Glen Burnie bank was reportedly robbed at knifepoint by a Pasadena man, police say. The hold-up happened shortly after 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Wells Fargo Bank at 6708 Ritchie Hwy. in Glen Burnie, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

The 60-year-old victim told police that while he was withdrawing money from the bank’s outdoor ATM, a man approached him with a knife and demanded money.

Once the victim turned over his cash, the robber fled the scene on foot. Several officers, including canine, searched the area, found, and arrested the suspect.

The victim suffered a minor injury during the robbery, police said.

Joshua David Maupin, 32, of the 8500 block of Jenkins Road in Pasadena, was charged with the robbery.
