The first day of school in Anne Arundel County is Monday, Aug. 25 (as if you didn’t already know that).

Here’s a look at key dates for the 2014-15 school year:

Aug. 25: Schools open for grades 1-5, 6, and 9 only

Aug. 26: Schools open for students in grades 1-12

Aug. 27-29: Staggered entrance for Kindergarten and full-day Pre-K

Aug. 28,29, Sept. 2: Staggered entrance for half-day Pre-K

Aug. 28: First day of school for ECI students

Sept. 1: Labor Day (system-wide holiday)

Sept. 2: First day for all Kindergarten and full-day pre-K

Sept. 3: First day for all half-day pre-K

Sept. 17: Two-hour early dismissal

Sept. 25: Rosh Hashanah. (system-wide holiday)

Oct. 13: Two-hour early dismissal

Oct. 15: PSAT administration

Oct. 17: MSEA Convention. No school

Nov. 4: General elections (system-wide holiday)

Nov. 11: Two-hour early dismissal

Nov. 24-25: Parent/Teacher conferences for elementary and middle schools. No school

Nov. 26-28: Thanksgiving (system-wide holiday)

Dec. 24 - Jan. 2: Winter break (system-wide holiday)

Jan. 19: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day(system-wide holiday)

Jan. 20-23: Two-hour early dismissal

Jan. 26-27: Teacher workdays. No school.

Feb. 11: Two-hour early dismissal
