Bay Area Market Robbery Suspect Arrested: Police

A Baltimore man has been charged with the armed robbery of the Bay Area Market in Pasadena, police say.

PASADENA, MD — A Baltimore man has been charged with the October armed robbery of the Bay Area Market in Pasadena, Anne Arundel County Police say. The store at 8039 Fort Smallwood Road was robbed by two men just before 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 30. A store employee told police the men entered the store with a handgun and demanded money.

The employee gave the robbers cash and the suspects fled the store. Officers searched the area didn't find the suspects then. No injuries were reported.

Investigators later identified Anthony Michael Terranova, 33, of Baltimore as one of the men who allegedly robbed the market. On Dec. 20, detectives located Terranova in the Brooklyn Park area and he was arrested. During the arrest, Terranova was found to be in possession of a starter pistol.

He is charged with felony counts of robbery and armed robbery, plus a misdemeanor charge of theft: $100 to under $1,500.
