BOYS BASKETBALL: Northeast Battles South River
The Northeast Eagles continue the final stretch of their season tonight against South River.

Just four days after their loss to cross-town rival Chesapeake, the Eagles are headed to for their second to last game of the season.
The Eagles have had a tough season as they have been forced to play all their games on the road due to construction at the school. Wins for the team have been hard to come by and they sit at a 2-14 season, heading into their final games.

The Eagles may have escaped Friday night with a win if they had been able to minimize the turnovers in the second half. That’s something they will look to do tonight against South River.
“Turnovers came [on Friday] when we started to panic,” O’Dea said. “We just need to slow the game down a bit and not let other teams pick up the pressure, which forces us to play at their tempo.”
The Eagles are set to tipoff tonight at 5 p.m. They will conclude their season on Thursday night at North County.
