BOYS LACROSSE: Cougars Continue Playoff Run

Chesapeake's boys lacrosse team will face Arundel Monday night.

The 's boys lacrosse team will continue their state playoff run Monday night when they take on Arundel High School.

Despite finishing the regular season with an 8-5 record, the Cougars drew a No. 14 seed in the playoffs—forcing them to play all of their games on the road.

On May 9, Chesapeake defeated Calvert County team Huntingtown (3) 8-7. Then traveled to Chopticon (11) on May 13. The Cougars took down the 11 seed 14-4.

Chesapeake was led by dominant offensive performances from Nick Altmann and Austin Brown Friday night. Altmann tallied five goals and two assists in the contest, while Brown recorded four goals and one assist.

The Cougars will face a tough opponent Monday night when they take on the Arundel Wildcats (10). The Cougars fell to Arundel 11-8 in the last game of the regular season.

The Cougars will play at Arundel High School Monday night at 7 p.m.
