Charges Filed in Three-Month-Old Burglary

Annapolis Police have charged a 19-year-old man with breaking into a house in the 1200 block of President Street

Annapolis Police detectives last week made an arrest in a three-month-old burglary reported in the 1200 block of President Street.

The burglary occurred between June 4 and 5 when a home was entered through an unlocked ground-floor window, police say.

The burglar took a Phillips flat-screen television, Apple Mac Book Pro, and iPod, according to polcie.

Detectives identified Keontay Ireland, 19, of Annapolis as the suspect in the burglary.

On Sept. 3 he was was charged with first-, third-, and fourth-degree burglary, and two counts of theft.

Ireland posted $25,000 bond and was released from the Jennifer Road Detention Center.
