Chesapeake High Sports Wrap-Up

We take a look at Chesapeake High's sports performance on Feb. 4.

Welcome to the first of a series of Pasadena Patch sports wrap-ups! Every Saturday we'll look at high school sports in the area; this week we'll start with Chesapeake High School.

Chesapeake High School saw a packed athletics schedule on Feb. 4, with six opportunities for victory. Unfortunately, none of them ended to the Cougars’ advantage.

In girls’ basketball, Chesapeake found itself on the losing side in both the varsity and junior varsity contests. In the varsity game, the Cougars fell to North County 57-33, while the JV squad was also upended.

In the JV matchup, Jacob McKenzie led the Cougars with 15 points, 19 rebounds and 7 blocked shots, while Logan Addington added 12 points.
