Community Not In Danger After Fatal Shooting: Police
Anne Arundel County Police say there is no threat to area residents after a man was shot and killed Tuesday night in Arundel on the Bay.

Tuesday night’s fatal shooting of a man in the Arundel on the Bay area of Annapolis is not believed to be a random crime, and there is no threat to the community, authorities said Friday afternoon.
Shannon Blair Jr., 29, of 14 Hicks Ave. in Annapolis, died Tuesday night from gunshot wounds to his upper body, according to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
Residents reported hearing gunshots about 8 p.m. near Washington Avenue and Bay Highlands Drive in Annapolis. When Anne Arundel County Police officers arrived, they found a man with upper body trauma, lying in the road.

Blair, while from the Annapolis area, is not from the community where he was found, police say.
Detectives are still examining evidence and interviewing witnesses in Blair’s death.
