Cougars Dominate in Tournament
The Chesapeake High School wrestling team went 6-0 in a dual tournament this weekend.

The Chesapeake High School wrestling team put on a dominating performance this weekend going 6-1 at the Anne Arundel County/Howard County Duals at Broadneck High School in Annapolis.
The Cougars had six wins over Patapsco, Overlea, Atholton, Howard, Long Reach and Carver Vo-Tech. Their only loss came to Oakland Mills, a Howard County team, who was the toughest team in the competition.
Chesapeake saw some standout performances in the tournament from Cody Morrow and Kyle Gittens, who both reached the milestone of 100 wins. Gittens went 7-0 while Cody went 6-1 throughout the tournament, according to head coach Paul Tolle.

Sophomore Damian Titow also performed well, going undefeated in the tournament at 7-0 with only one forfeit. He had four pins, one major decision, and one decision Tolle said.
The Cougars' next match will be on Friday at Harford Technical High School in Bel Air.
