Couple Arrested in Armed Robbery of Pizza Deliver Driver

A Baltimore couple are both in custody after they allegedly stole cash from a woman delivering pizzas in Brooklyn Park.

A Baltimore couple sought since a July 5 armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver in Brooklyn Park has been arrested, police say.

Anne Arundel County Police say the driver had just delivered an order and the male suspect asked her to make change. The suspect – later identified as Jonathan Michael Rodgers, 25, of Baltimore – then pointed a handgun at the woman and demanded her pizza money.

At this point, suspect Monica Marie Jordan, 19, of Baltimore, reportedly snatched the money from the driver’s hand and both suspects fled on foot.

Their identities were quickly confirmed, police say, and warrants issued for their arrest.

Jordan was arrested on her warrant a few weeks after the incident.

On Wednesday, detectives located and arrested Jonathan Rodgers for his open warrant. Police say Rodgers confessed to the robbery.
