Double Shooting In Pasadena Kills Woman, Hospitalizes Teen: Police
A double shooting in Pasadena killed a woman and hospitalized a teenager, police said. Officers think several people witnessed the homicide.

PASADENA, MD — Police said a double shooting in Pasadena killed a woman and hospitalized a teenager on Monday.
Officers identified the deceased as 21-year-old Aiyana Nashea Walker of Pasadena. Authorities said the injured boy, a 16-year-old from Curtis Bay, is in stable condition.
The shooting happened around 4:30 p.m. while a large group of people was gathered in the 200 block of Whitaker Road, police said.

First responders found Walker lying on a sidewalk suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The Anne Arundel County Fire Department pronounced Walker dead on the scene, a press release said.
While officers were still on the scene, they learned about the surviving teen victim. Authorities said he fled the area and went to a hospital before they arrived.

"Detectives believe there may be as many as 30 eyewitnesses to this homicide," the Anne Arundel County Police Department said on Facebook. "They are hopeful that someone/some people will do the right thing and come forward. Ms. Walker's family and friends deserve closure, and both victims deserve justice."
