Five Questions with NHS Senior Athlete Blake Russell
The two-sport athlete will be playing lacrosse at Goucher in the fall.

Patch stopped by and spoke to a few senior athletes about their careers as Eagles, and their plans moving forward.
Blake Russell, 17, spent three years on the varsity lacrosse team and two years on the varsity football team.
Pasadena Patch: What is your favorite memory from Northeast High School?
Blake Russell: Beating Chesapeake in the ‘Dena Bowl my junior year because it is a big rivalry. It’s just a big game and there are a lot of people there. It is a lot of fun.

Pasadena Patch: What are your plans for after high school?
Russell: I am attending Goucher College to play lacrosse. I picked there because I didn’t want to go too far from home and they were a good fit. They have a good lacrosse team. I’m not sure what I am going to major in, maybe physical therapy.
Pasadena Patch: What are you most looking forward to in college?
Russell: I am most looking forward to having a good time in college; learning something I am interested in and playing lacrosse.

Pasadena Patch: What was your favorite class that you took while at Northeast?
Russell: My favorite class was probably AP Psychology. I liked learning about the brain and how everything worked.
Pasadena Patch: Who was your favorite teacher at Northeast?
Russell: Ms. Lebowitz. She helps me in calculus when I need the help.
