Hit-And-Run Boat Crash On July 4 Weekend Prompts Search In Anne Arundel County: Police
A hit-and-run boat crash in Anne Arundel County prompted an investigation on Independence day weekend, police said. Officers asked for tips.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Police are looking for the operator behind a hit-and-run boat crash in Anne Arundel County.
Officers said the captain hit another boat Sunday around 10 p.m. on the Magothy River.
The boat that caused the crash is a white center-console vessel that is roughly 25 to 30 feet long, authorities said.

A Facebook post said the suspect fled and was last seen boating into Deep Creek in Cape St. Claire.
The Maryland Department of Natural Resources Police is investigating. The agency asked anybody with information on the boat or its operator to call (410) 260-8888.
