Incident in Millersville on Friday Involves Pasadena Resident

The Anne Arundel Count Police Department has issued a report on an incident that ocurred on Friday, Feb. 4 at Kinder Farm Park.

At approximately 11:20 a.m., officers from the Eastern District P.A.C.T. Unit were checking the Kinder Farm Park in Millersville in reference to a suspicious subject in a vehicle.

Upon approaching the vehicle, the officers observed a male subject seated in the vehicle parked in the rear of the park. The officers approached the vehicle and identified themselves. At that time, the subject shot himself with a handgun.

The officers forced entry into the vehicle to render assistance to the 55-year-old male from Pasadena, who was suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The subject was pronounced dead at the scene.
