How do you know the star student?
As Paxton’s grandmother, I’ve had the privilege of watching him excel academically while developing a deep appreciation for his community and the environment.
Tell us about your star student's accomplishments and why they deserve to be recognized on Patch!
Paxton is nominated as a Star Student for several reasons. Most importantly, it is because of his dedication, extraordinary abilities and commitment in everything he does. First, he recently achieved membership in the National Junior Honor Society. He is currently enrolled as a STEM Magnet student and, through his determination, was named STEM Student of the Month, in addition to earning Honor Roll and Principal’s Honor Roll recognition. Paxton continues to receive positive referrals and feedback from his teachers, and he enjoys assisting his classmates when needed.
Aside from excelling academically, Paxton participates in the International Orphanage Program and creates care packages for people experiencing homelessness both locally and nationally. Paxton enjoys playing chess, reading, swimming and soccer, and he has a very creative side when it comes to art and creating new games. His artwork has been posted on Etsy and displayed at the Annapolis Mall. His artistic abilities even shine through in the kitchen, where he enjoys cooking. Most of all, he enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.
Paxton excels in everything he does and truly exemplifies what a Star Student should be.
