Odenton, Pasadena Suspects Charged In Gas Station Robbery

Men from Odenton and Pasadena have been charged with robbing a Shell gas station earlier this month, police say.

PASADENA, MD — Men from Odenton and Pasadena have been arrested for allegedly robbing a Pasadena gas station on April 1. Anne Arundel County Police say the pair had a handgun when they robbed a clerk working at the Shell gas station at 303 Mountain Road in Pasadena.

The employee said two men wearing all dark clothing, masks, and hoods entered the business and approached the clerk, and one suspect pointed a silver handgun at the clerk and demanded cash. An undetermined amount of cash was taken before the suspects fled the business.

The two suspects arrested are Jennerio Howard Shird, 34, of the 1900 block of Camelia Court in Odenton, and Dominique Jamal Matthews, 28, of the 300 block of Hickory Nut Court in Pasadena.

Both suspects have been charged with armed robbery, robbery, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, handgun on person, firearm use/felony, reckless endangerment, conspiracy/armed robbery, and theft under $1,000.
