Pasadena Businesses Invited To Help Collect School Supplies

The Pasadena Business Association's education committee hopes local businesses will help collect school supplies for families in need.

PASADENA, MD — The Pasadena Business Association's education committee is hosting a school supply drive for the upcoming school year for those identified as being in need of assistance within the Chesapeake and Northeast feeder system.

"We have grandparents raising grandchildren, aunts and uncles raising siblings' children and siblings raising younger siblings due to circumstances within the family, so we want to help them," the association wrote in its newsletter.

Businesses are encouraged to help collect school supplies. Those items can be dropped off at 9:30 a.m. at Celebree School. If that day and time doesn't work, they can be droped off during the week at Arundel Federal Savings Bank in Lakeshore Plaza.
