Pasadena Man Charged With Drug Trafficking

PASADENA, MD — Nearly $2,000 in cash was seized Wednesday night when a Pasadena driver was stopped by Anne Arundel County Police on Ritchie Highway near Crain Highway in Glen Burnie. A search of the vehicle and driver Dezmon Wade Parker, 21, of the 8000 block of Evening Star Drive in Pasadena, turned up 16.5 grams of marijuana, $1,892 in cash and a loaded .357 revolver, authorities say.

The handgun was reported stolen out of Loudoun County, Virginia.

Parker is charged with: possession CDS / marijuana, possession with intent to distribute CDS, firearm / drug trafficking crime, possession of a stolen firearm, CDS distribution with a firearm, handgun in a vehicle, and theft less than $1,000 value.
