BROOKLYN PARK, MD — A Pasadena man who ran from police has been charged with a weapons violation, say Anne Arundel County Police. Officers were investigating a report about 5:45 p.m. Saturday of someone with a handgun in the 5000 block of Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park.When officers arrived the suspect fled on foot. After a short foot chase, the man was placed into custody. During a search of the suspect, officers found a .40 caliber H&amp;K handgun in the suspect's backpack.Investigators say the suspect is prohibited from possessing a handgun.
