Pasadena Man Fled Police, Charged With Weapons Violation
A Pasadena man who ran from police has been charged with a weapons violation, say Anne Arundel County Police.

BROOKLYN PARK, MD — A Pasadena man who ran from police has been charged with a weapons violation, say Anne Arundel County Police. Officers were investigating a report about 5:45 p.m. Saturday of someone with a handgun in the 5000 block of Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park.
When officers arrived the suspect fled on foot. After a short foot chase, the man was placed into custody. During a search of the suspect, officers found a .40 caliber H&K handgun in the suspect’s backpack.
Investigators say the suspect is prohibited from possessing a handgun. Jahaid Haneef Thomas, 20, of the 8200 block of Appalachian Drive in Pasadena, was arrested and was charged with a weapons violation.
