Police say they spotted two passengers in the backseat of a car that smelled like marijuana. One suspect ran into the woods, a report notes.

PASADENA, MD — A Pasadena man ran from police last Friday after they approached his car that smelled like marijuana, an incident report says. Officers arrested the suspect on drug, gun and resistance charges on Monday. The accused man, Zachary Dylan Blake, is 24.
Foot patrol officers claim they spotted Blake on Friday around 3:25 a.m. in the 3000 block of Marble Arch Drive. Police claim Blake was in the back seat of his car with another passenger.

Police say they found a retro GLOCK P80 9mm handgun in the car. The weapon was loaded with a 15-bullet magazine, and a spare clip was found nearby, according to the report.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department secured an arrest warrant for Blake later that day. Police found Blake and served the warrant on Monday.
Blake is charged with four misdemeanors: possessing a handgun in his vehicle, possessing a loaded handgun in his vehicle, possessing more than 10 grams of marijuana and resisting arrest.
A judge initially held Blake on $10,000 bond. Lexington National Insurance Corporation, a Lutherville bonds company, paid Blake's bail on Monday, freeing him before his trial.
