Pasadena Man's Death In Laurel Ruled Homicide

PASADENA, MD — Anne Arundel County Police are asking for tips in the death of Jose Alberto Funes, 22, of the 1000 block of Keppel Harbour in Pasadena, who was killed in Laurel. Police received a report that someone was sick or injured Friday morning, and found the victim inside a vehicle in the 200 block of Brock Bridge Road in Laurel.

Paramedics tried to treat the victim, but he had died from his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Funes suffered trauma to the upper body.

Funes' body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, where an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
