PASADENA, MD — A Pasadena man has been charged with exposing himself in a Walmart parking lot and at the Java Divas drive-through, Anne Arundel County Police say. Dylan Robert Whelchel, 24, of the 900 block of Tick Neck Road in Pasadena, has been charged with three counts of indecent exposure

Police began investigating on June 29, when a customer at Walmart, 8107 Ritchie Highway in Pasadena, reported an indecent exposure case. A woman told police that a small red car pulled up next to her as she was walking across the parking lot; the driver had his penis exposed and was masturbating. Once he was noticed, the man quickly drove off the parking lot. Officers used video surveillance from Walmart to spot the red Chevy Cavalier the suspect drove.

On July 12, an indecent exposure incident was reported at Java Divas, 8355 Ritchie Highway in Pasadena Road. A woman working at the business told officers a man driving a small red car pulled into the drive-through; when the employee looked into the vehicle, she saw he had his penis exposed and was masturbating, police say. The victim noted the vehicle tag number and reported it to officers.
