Pasadena's House Of Christmas Runs Through January 1

Don't miss this amazing light show in Green Haven — the beacon of the season in Pasadena will be running through January 1, 2019.

PASADENA, MD — The House of Christmas in Pasadena makes the season a bit brighter for the neighbors in Green Haven. The Sebald family decorates their house with lights and characters galore, creating a dazzling display that draws visitors from near and far.

The creators begin putting up the lights after Halloween, and the first day of the show was Thanksgiving. It runs until New Year's Day.

There are 60,000 lights at the House of Christmas, according to the Sebalds.

Minions, gingerbread people, penguins and others are illuminated by the array of colors for those who come to take in the sights.

Jason Sebald has been decorating the Pasadena home for the decade that he and his family have lived there, according to the Capital Gazette, which reported he decorated his dad's house before that.

It looks "even better in person," one Facebook fan commented on the House of Christmas page, where she thanked the hosts for "playing along with us tonight and saying the elf lives at your house."

Said Erica Sebald: "They do live here!"

The elves will keep the lights on through Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019. Hours are 5-11 p.m.

House of Christmas is at 1221 Sedge Court, Pasadena, MD 21122.
