POLL: Would Taxes Affect Your Digital Media Purchases?
A new tax proposal would add a tax expense to all digital media products.

Downloading apps and music are second nature to most people. Few iPhone users hesitate over a 99-cent app purchase, but what if the app was 99 cents plus tax?
According to an article in The Baltimore Sun, one of Gov. Martin O’Malley’s tax proposals involves adding a tax to digital media products. That would include songs, e-books, apps, ring tones, videos, etc.
So, if that $1.29 song in iTunes suddenly became $1.35, would you hesitate to buy it? Would you still buy the catchy radio hit ring tone if you had to add tax expenses? Tell Patch what you think.
