Q&A: Bodkin Elementary Student Brett Meadows

Brett Meadows, 6, is in kindergarten at Bodkin Elementary School.

Patch caught up with kindergartner Brett Meadows, 6, to ask him a few questions about the end of the school year, and his summer plans.

Pasadena Patch: What is something you learned this year?
Brett Meadows:
That a firefly was a type of beetle.

Pasadena Patch: What was your favorite part of this school year?
Brett:
Math is my favorite because you get to work in magazines. We do stuff we are learning in our unit.

Pasadena Patch: What are you most looking forward to next year?
Brett:
My new teacher, and getting to go out on the first-grade playground.

Pasadena Patch: What are you going to do over your summer vacation?
Brett:
I am going to go camping and to drama camp. I am also going to book writing camp. Then I am going to go to the Outer Banks and Nags Head.

Pasadena Patch: What are you going to miss most about school during the summer?
Brett:
I’m going to miss my teacher Mrs. Goodwyn because she is beautiful.
