Q&A: Bodkin Elementary Student Jacob Harmon

Jacob Harmon, 7, is a first-grader at Bodkin Elementary School.

Patch caught up with first-grader Jacob Harmon, 7, to ask him a few questions about the end of the school year, and his summer plans.

Pasadena Patch: What is something you learned this year?
Jacob Harmon:
I learned how to use a computer and all the technology you can do on it. You can learn words and stuff and you can practice sounds.

Pasadena Patch: What was your favorite part of this school year?
Jacob:
I liked learning all of the things Mrs. Duffy taught me. I really liked doing the dioramas.

Pasadena Patch: What are you most looking forward to next year?
Jacob:
I am looking forward to how much sentences they write. I like to write stories a lot.

Pasadena Patch: What are you going to do over your summer vacation?
Jacob:
I am mostly going to go to my grandparents. Also, every day I go to the pool. I like to swim. I can do a lot of strokes like front stroke, backstroke, dolphin. But the butterfly is too hard. I like being on the swim team.

Pasadena Patch: What are you going to miss most about school during the summer?
Jacob:
I will miss learning writing other words, and I will miss the computers.
