Q&A: Bodkin Elementary Student Lauren Widdowson

Lauren Widdowson is a first-grader at Bodkin Elementary.

Patch caught up with first-grader Lauren Widdowson during lunch at  to ask her a few questions.

Pasadena Patch: What is your favorite thing about school?
Lauren Widdowson:
Reading zoo books and my teachers. I like Ms. Bieda because she is funny.

Pasadena Patch: What is something you learned recently in school?
Lauren:
Doubles in math. Like six and six is 12. And eight and eight is 16—stick your head in sour cream. We learned that.

Pasadena Patch: What do you like to do for fun?
Lauren:
I like gymnastics, dance and swimming. In dance, I do tap and ballet. My recital is coming up in June and it is on a Friday.

Pasadena Patch: What is your favorite thing about Bodkin Elementary School?
Lauren:
That I get to see my friends in class and at recess. Sometimes we play jump rope.

Pasadena Patch: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Lauren:
I have a lot of decisions, probably an art teacher, a teacher, a [physical education] teacher or a ballet teacher.
