Spring Sport Tryouts Begin at Chesapeake

As the winter sport season comes to an end at , the spring season is beginning. Chesapeake will hold spring sports tryouts starting on Thursday.

Here is a complete list of spring tryout dates for tennis, softball, track and field, girls and boys lacrosse, and baseball.

Sport: Tennis
When: March 1-2 from 3:30-5 p.m.
Location: Tennis Courts

Sport: Softball
When:  March 1-2 from 3 to 6 p.m. and March 3 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Location: Softball field in the back of the school

Sport: Track and Field
When: March 1-2 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. and March 3 from 9-11 a.m.
Location: Meet on the track

Sport: Girls Lacrosse
When:  March 1-2 from 2:30-5:30 p.m. and March 3 from 8-11 a.m. and 12-2 p.m.
Location: Turf field

Sport: Baseball
When: March 1-2 from 2:30-5:30 p.m. and March 3 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Location: Baseball field in the back of the school

Sport: Boys Varsity Lacrosse
When: March 1-2 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and March 3 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Location: Turf field

Sport: Boys JV Lacrosse
When: March 1-2 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and March 3 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Location: Back airport fields behind the baseball field  

Chesapeake athletic director Kim Collins noted that Bocce ball tryouts will not start until Tuesday, March 6.
