The proceeds from the dinner will be used for the school's participation in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.

Sunset Elementary School will host a spaghetti dinner Friday to help raise money for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.

Staff and community members from the school will be participating in the Relay for Life event for the second year in a row. This year’s race will be held at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds in Crownsville on May 18.

According to an email from Sheri Berberian, Sunset Elementary speech language pathologist, the Sunset Team has pledged to raise $4,000 for the race in May. To help reach this goal they will hold a spaghetti dinner at the school on Friday.
