The restaurant on Colony Road has reopened under new management and will host a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday night at 5:30 p.m., according to a press release from Tall Oaks Restaurant.

Fifty years ago, Francis Hasse purchased a grocery store and turned it
into Tall Oaks Restaurant—now being reopened with new management. Dennis Walz and Joe Golden are bringing their own unique ideas and menu to Tall Oaks, according to the release.

The restaurant has been completely renovated and Walz and Golden hope to create a place where family and friends can enjoy great food and each other.

“Our goal is to provide a clean, attractive but casual atmosphere; one we hope you will find inviting and relaxing in choosing where you will go out to eat,” said Walz and Golden in a release. “Our approach is fresh quality ingredients prepared and presented with true culinary integrity.”

The official ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at Tall Oaks Restaurant located at 1541 Colony Rd. in Pasadena on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
